A Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report said over half of PSA oxygen plants installed under PM CARES and corporate social responsibility initiatives in West Bengal during Covid-19 were either not commissioned or non-functional as of December 2023. It also stated that ventilators and oxygen concentrators supplied during the pandemic were lying idle at two government hospitals.
