Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2026-27 in Lok Sabha on Sunday, marking her ninth consecutive Budget presentation. The Budget Session of Parliament began on January 28 and is scheduled to conclude on April 2. Earlier this week, Sitharaman also took part in the halwa ceremony, a traditional ritual held ahead of the Budget presentation.
