The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) has identified 448 water-scarce locations across the city and drawn up a summer preparedness plan costing ₹10.14 crore. The West Zone has the highest number of vulnerable areas at 146, followed by the North Zone with 122. To support water distribution, BWSSB will deploy 1,260 storage tanks across critical locations.
