Chinese authorities told domestic companies to stop using cybersecurity software made by US and Israeli firms, Reuters reported. US companies CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet and Israeli firm Check Point Software Technologies are among the firms whose cybersecurity software has been banned. Authorities believe the software could collect and transmit confidential information abroad.
