LPG bookings fell to about 77 lakh bookings on March 14 from 88.8 lakh on March 13, according to Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. This followed the government's appeal to citizens to avoid panic booking, noting that no LPG distributorships reported dry-outs. Additionally, India is expected to receive about 92,712 metric tonnes of LPG through the Strait of Hormuz.
