In a historic achievement, Mumbai's Shreya Shantanu Mundhada has become the first Indian girl to win a gold medal at the 15th European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) held in France. The four-member Indian team secured a total of three medals, including one silver and one bronze. India secured its best-ever sixth position out of 67 participating countries.
