Reacting to criticism over pre-seeded groups in Super Eight stage of T20 World Cup 2026, ex-India captain Sunil Gavaskar said, "Why bring this up now? Why was this not brought up before the start of the tournament?" He added that logistics could be the reason behind pre-seeding as the tournament is taking place in two countries.
