Israel has suspended battalion involved in the on-camera assault of journalist near the Palestinian village of Tayasir. The unit will instead undergo training aimed at reinforcing its professional and ethical foundations before returning to active duty, Israeli military said in a statement. A photojournalist was placed in a chokehold and slammed to the ground by Israeli soldiers.
