Reacting to Babar Azam resigning as Pakistan captain for the second time in over 10 months, ex-Pakistan pacer Sikander Bakht said, "Ab sharam ayi! (You finally felt ashamed!)" Bakht further called Babar "stubborn" and added that he should've resigned as soon as Pakistan's T20 World Cup 2024 campaign was over. Pakistan were knocked out of tournament in the group stage.
