India's top 5 most valued firms' mcap surges ₹1,54,000 crore in a week; TCS sees biggest jump

Five of the top 10 most valuable Indian companies' combined market capitalisation (m-cap) surged by over ₹1,54,000 crore over the past week, PTI reported. Meanwhile, the country's largest IT services firm TCS recorded the biggest jump of ₹72,072.3 crore to an mcap of ₹8,20,672.7 crore in the same period. ICICI Bank's valuation rose by ₹29,062.06 crore to ₹10,34,441.77 crore.
