Researchers find 307-million-year-old skull of oldest herbivore

Researchers found a 307-million-year-old skull of a Tyrannoroter heberti, known as the world's oldest herbivore. Scientists initially thought that animals took a long time after coming from water onto land to understand how to eat plants. However, the newly found skull challenges that belief and suggests that animals began eating plants millions of years earlier than previously thought.
