Shooter Aashima, set to make Asian Games debut, scored 98.6% in Class 12

Shooter Aashima Ahlawat, who is set to make her maiden Asian Games appearance in Aichi-Nagoya, had scored 98.6% in her Class 12 board exams. Coming from a business family, the 22-year-old from Haryana's Rohtak took inspiration from Manu Bhaker and Heena Sidhu's performances at Commonwealth Games 2018. She bagged bronze at the Asian Shooting Championship 2025.
