A video showing an emergency responder rescuing a sleeping infant amid waist-deep water in flood-hit Assam has emerged. The infant, wrapped tightly in a cloth, remained completely undisturbed throughout the operation as the rescuer carried it to the raft. Visuals also showed armed forces and SDRF rescuing elderly women as lakhs of people remain affected across eight districts of Assam.
