Tunisia judge orders arrest of journalist Mohamed Yousfi

Tunisian journalist Mohamed Yousfi, editor of investigative site Al-Qatiba and critic of President Kais Saied, was detained Friday outside Radio Express FM on charges of illicit enrichment and money laundering. The journalist syndicate SNJT called the arrest an attack on press freedom, citing a broader crackdown on reporters, lawyers, and activists since Saied suspended parliament in 2021.
