Govt expects ₹8,600 cr private investment in 11 airports: Report

The Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee has given in-principle approval to the government's proposal to lease 11 airports in five bundles for 50 years. The Centre expects at least ₹8,600 crore investment from the planned privatisation, Mint reported. The proposed bundles are Amritsar-Kangra, Varanasi-Gaya-Kushinagar, Bhubaneswar-Hubballi, Raipur-Aurangabad and Tiruchirappalli-Tirupati.
