Tata Electronics backs Apple, chip push with ₹61,280 cr guarantees

Tata Electronics has issued ₹61,280 crore in guarantees and ₹1,017 crore in loans to subsidiaries to ramp up Apple iPhone production and semiconductor projects. Equity investments reached ₹3,727 crore by March 2026. Despite operating income nearly doubling, net losses rose to ₹1,611 crore. Tata Sons infused ₹3,000 crore to support expansion.
