Patanjali Foods has received a GST demand notice worth ₹1,353 crore, along with a penalty of ₹135.29 crore, according to an exchange filing. The notice was sent by Chennai's Office of the Assistant Commissioner over alleged discrepancies in turnover reported by the company and TDS cuts. The company doesn't expect any financial liability arising from the notice.
