In the US, one gallon (3.78 litres) of Amul milk costs $5.59 or around ₹530, India.com reported. This makes the cost of one litre of milk around ₹140. This is double the cost of one-litre milk in India at ₹70. At the same time, in China, one-litre milk costs 25-30 yuan (₹350-420). This is five times the cost in India.
