The RBI has shared frequently asked questions (FAQs) on ₹2,000 notes being withdrawn from circulation. "Members of the public can exchange ₹2,000 banknotes up to a limit of ₹20,000/- at a time," the RBI said. It also clarified that people can exchange the notes at any bank. "The exchange facility shall be provided free of cost," it added.
