Indian IT giant Wipro, which hired 7,500 freshers in FY26, does not have a fresher hiring target for FY27 for the time being amid an ongoing shift to AI. "[Fresher hiring] is completely on demand," said HR head Saurabh Govil. "We shouldn't shy away from saying that our campus intake over..last four years has gradually come down," he added.
