Iranian Prez extends I-Day wishes to India, vows for stronger India-Iran ties

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian wished PM Narendra Modi on the occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day. “Iran is ready to take more effective steps to strengthen relations between the two countries,” he said. Pezeshkian also prayed to God Almighty for India’s “pride, progress, prosperity and ever-increasing happiness". He may visit India to attend the 18th BRICS Summit, reports said.
