Apple has discontinued the Mac Pro with no plans to release future Mac Pro hardware, the company confirmed to 9to5Mac. Apple had introduced the Mac Pro first generation in August 2006 as a successor to Power Mac G5. It had unveiled the current Mac Pro industrial design in 2019, which was updated with the M2 Ultra chip in June 2023.
