Chinese researchers have developed an AI model that could predict depression risk up to four years in advance. Scientists tested subjects' responses to images, including people's faces, along with their brain signals, to build the model. Researchers said people without depression can distinguish emotional changes based on others' facial expressions, while those with depression struggle to do so.
