Bageshwar Dham Peeth chief Dhirendra Shastri's brother, Shaligram Garg, allegedly shot a man in the chest after he refused to sell his land in Madhya Pradesh. The bullet was removed from the victim's ribs through surgery. The victim said Garg was angry after a family lodged a complaint against him with the administration for trying to encroach on their land.
