Brokers seek afternoon Muhurat Trading on Diwali: Report

Stock brokers and market participants have again urged exchanges to hold Muhurat Trading during the daytime, as they did last year, Moneycontrol reported. With Diwali falling on November 8, the auspicious Muhurat window is between 1:47 pm and 3:12 pm, prompting brokers to propose a 2 pm to 3 pm session. Traditionally, Muhurat Trading takes place during evening.
