Delhi govt to set up 110 centres for dignified disposal of old & damaged idols

The Delhi government will set up 110 dedicated collection centres for the dignified disposal of old or damaged idols, puja samagri and other materials. These 'Visarjan Patras' will cover 18 geographical belts across the capital. The government has also arranged 81 artificial ponds for Ganpati Visarjan across all districts, CM Rekha Gupta announced.
