Supreme Court dismissed the final pending appeal in the Bofors bribery case, ending all judicial proceedings in the decades-old scandal. The plea challenged Delhi High Court's 2005 judgement that quashed criminal proceedings against Hinduja brothers and Swedish manufacturer AB Bofors. The row erupted in 1987 after Swedish Radio alleged politicians and defence officials took bribes for the deal.
