RR's 15-year-old opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi on Wednesday created history by breaking the record for smashing the most number of sixes in an IPL season. With his seventh six in the IPL 2026 Eliminator against SRH, he took his tally of sixes in the season to 60. Chris Gayle had set the previous record by smashing 59 sixes in IPL 2012.
