BJP leader V Muraleedharan said that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who will contest Wayanad by-polls, will leave the seat when moment comes for her to get a better seat. "When Wayanad was facing one of most critical periods in their life...There was no representative of Wayanad in Parliament," he said referring to Rahul Gandhi leaving the seat post Lok Sabha win.
