Infant food norm violations will invite strict action: Tukaram Mundhe

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe said that norms for the promotion and packaging of infant food have been tightened and that violations will invite strict action. This comes after the FDA suspended the licences of Mumbai's 122-year-old Kyani and 12 other food establishments during a festive-season crackdown between September 23 and 27, 2026.
