A 10 billion Toman (over ₹70 lakh) reward has been announced for the capture of a missing US pilot after a US fighter jet was downed in Iran. Reports had earlier claimed that Iran had captured a US pilot. US has claimed that it rescued two service members after Iran downed two fighter jets.
