US President Donald Trump has announced the creation of the Presidential Military Spouse Commission, appointing Jennifer Hegseth, wife of War Secretary Pete Hegseth, to lead the initiative. The commission will develop recommendations to improve the lives of military families by addressing challenges related to housing, employment, healthcare, education and childcare.
