Students from Classes 6-8, who staged a protest demanding better mid-day meals and drinking water among other basic facilities in Bihar's Gaya district, refused to leave the Tikari Sub-Divisional Office until the SDM spoke to them. Reportedly, SDM Praveen Kundan was on a field trip when the students arrived. When the Executive Magistrate tried talking to them, the students refused.
