Kolkata Police Inspector Goutam Das, who was suspended in early May over his social media post holding a rifle in uniform, has now been deployed to serve directly at CM Suvendu Adhikari's office. He was suspended after the TMC objected to his post captioned, "Ready for new assignment". Das was serving as officer-in-charge of Kalighat police station amid election buzz.
