US State Secy Rubio warns his officials to 'stay in their lanes', threatens firing

US State Secretary Marco Rubio warned senior officials in his department to stay in their lanes and avoid conflicts of interest, Reuters reported. Unethical behaviour would result in firing, regardless of connections, he said. His warning had reportedly come before midterm polls as leading Republicans tried to distance themselves from President Donald Trump's increasingly unpopular administration.
