Anup Bagchi to be India's highest-paid bank CEO

Anup Bagchi, set to become HDFC Bank's CEO in late October, may earn up to ₹43.24 crore in his first year, making him India's highest-paid bank chief. His package includes ₹8.9 crore fixed pay, ₹26.9 crore variable, and a ₹7.35 crore joining bonus. RBI has approved the remuneration while shareholder vote for the payment proposal will close on November 6.
