Odisha suspends IPS officer over constable's alleged harassment

The Odisha government suspended IPS officer Dayal Gangwar over allegations of harassing constable Soumya Ranjan Swain, who was allegedly engaged in domestic work. Swain was lynched by a mob that allegedly tied him to a pole and assaulted him. Gangwar was not linked to the lynching investigation, but Swain's family accused him of harassing Swain while serving under him.
