The Gujarat government compulsorily retired IAS officers K Rajesh and Gaurav Dahiya under 'Operation Gangajal', its exercise against officials facing corruption and misconduct allegations. Rajesh, a 2011-batch officer, was accused of taking bribes in connection with the issuance of arms licences and allotment of government land. Dahiya faced disciplinary proceedings and misconduct inquiries.
