Dr Ashish Markan, an ophthalmologist, has shared a case of a man who reported loss in right eye's vision a day after going to a club for a party. Markan said the patient had repeatedly stared into laser lights used by DJ. Describing the case as 'laser-induced maculopathy', Markan said that even brief or repeated exposure can cause retinal burns.
