Moon's core structure is similar to that of Earth, finds study

A study led by astronomer Arthur Briaud from French National Centre for Scientific Research revealed Moon's core is solid and has iron-like density. The lunar core's structure mirrors Earth's, with a fluid outer layer and solid inner core. The findings that align with NASA research show outer core spans 362 km, while the inner core is 258 km in radius.
