Roblox to pay $23 million in settlements over child safety issues

The gaming platform Roblox will be paying $23 million in settlements to Alabama and West Virginia, after being accused of compromising child safety. In addition to the settlements, it has agreed to implement age verification for all users and restrict content and chat for users under the age of 16. Roblox faces over 140 lawsuits in relation to child exploitation.
