KPMG's UK unit on Saturday said it plans to cut staff in its auditing division. This comes after a Bloomberg News report claimed up to 440 employees could leave the business if a redundancy consultation proposal goes ahead. A spokesperson cited low attrition rates in certain parts of its audit workforce and said the firm aims to "right-size" those areas.
