Drivers, riders stranded mid-trip after Uber abruptly exits Nigeria, Uganda

Uber triggered widespread chaos across Nigeria and Uganda after switching off operations in the countries with immediate effect on Wednesday. According to reports, several drivers and passengers were stranded mid-journey. Reacting to it, an X user commented, "This is what a startup that just went bankrupt would do, not a $150 billion corporation. Uber operated in Nigeria since 2014!"
