Estonia's Defence Minister quits over ₹700 cr arms deal involving firm owned by Indian company

Estonia's Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur has resigned over a €70 million (about ₹700 crore) deal involving an Italy-registered company, Datasel, owned by an Indian firm, Neco Defence Munitions, to procure artillery for Ukraine using EU funds. It was revealed that the company had no track record of selling shells, and parts of the shipments came "faulty and useless".
