The death toll from twin earthquakes that struck Venezuela on Wednesday has risen to 1,430, with over 3,200 people injured and thousands still missing. The 7.2 and 7.5-magnitude quakes struck near Caracas and La Guaira. Officials said over 1,600 foreign rescuers have joined search-and-rescue operations. At least 68,900 people have been reported unaccounted for by their families, reports said.
