A man attempted to assassinate former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah at a wedding function in Jammu on Wednesday. CCTV footage surfaced online showing the man with a pistol getting within point blank range and discharging a shot. In the video, the accused was seen getting overpowered by security guards. Abdullah escaped unhurt, while the accused has been arrested.
