The Netherlands will send an unspecified number of troops to Afghanistan to help with efforts to evacuate people from the country, the Defence Ministry said on Sunday. The additional troops will join the 62 Dutch special forces already at Kabul airport. Earlier, the Dutch government said that its entire local embassy staff of 207 and their families had left Afghanistan.
