Delhi govt announces ₹2,000 monthly incentive for young athletes

Young athletes training at Delhi government sports centres and stadiums will receive a monthly financial incentive of ₹2,000 under the Mukhyamantri Khel Protsahan Yojana, CM Rekha Gupta said. The scheme will cover eligible athletes in the under-14, under-17, under-19 and under-21 categories. The aid will reportedly be provided to up to 25% of regularly enrolled trainees at each centre/stadium.
