Security has been increased outside actor and TVK chief Vijay's residence as TVK leads in early trends in the Tamil Nadu Assembly election results. A video showed extra security personnel manning the gate outside his residence. Out of 234 seats, TVK is leading in 104, followed by AIADMK in 66 seats and the incumbent DMK in 39 seats.
