The costs of home-cooked vegetarian and non-vegetarian thalis rose to a five-month high in June, according to Crisil Intelligence's Roti Rice Rate report. A vegetarian thali cost ₹28.4 in June, up from ₹27.4 in May, while a non-vegetarian thali cost ₹58.2, compared with ₹56.5 in May. The increase was driven by higher tomato, onion, vegetable oil and LPG prices.
